WPP Group unit acquires Greenfield Consulting Group

London--WPP Group plc, the world's third-biggest advertising agency holding company, said Friday that its Millward Brown Inc. unit, an advertising and brand research business, has acquired Greenfield Consulting Group, a qualitative research consultancy. Terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1983 and based in Westport, Conn., Greenfield had revenue of $13.5 million in 2001 and net assets of $3.6 million.
