‘WSJ’ launches revamped sites for Europe and Asia

New York—The Wall Street Journal, Monday launched expanded Web sites for Europe and Asia and debuted a new regional home page for India. HSBC Private Bank is the exclusive launch sponsor of the Europe and Asia sites.

The Journal also announced that the WSJ.com mobile reader is now available in Europe and Asia.

Separately, Dow Jones & Co., publisher of the Journal, announced Friday that it has made more than $100 million in annual operating cost reductions since News Corp. acquired the company in December 2007. —Sean Callahan
