‘WSJ’ names Asmodeo-Giglio VP-publisher of new lifestyle magazine

New York—The Wall Street Journal has named Ellen Asmodeo-Giglio, VP-publisher of the Journal’s new lifestyle magazine, WSJ. , which rolls out Sept. 6. Asmodeo-Giglio spent 17 years at American Express Publishing, the last six as senior VP-publisher of Travel+Leisure Magazine. Most recently, she was a marketing consultant.

Her appointment was announced at a press conference last Thursday in New York to introduce WSJ. “This is the first brand extension of The Wall Street Journal since Dow Jones & Co. was acquired by News Corp. and the first really big project,” said Michael Rooney, chief revenue officer of Dow Jones.
