'WSJ' names Lawrence VP-global marketing, advertising sales

New York—The Wall Street Journal has appointed Nina Lawrence VP-global marketing, advertising sales. In addition to leading the Journal's global sales team, Lawrence will oversee the upcoming expansion of the company's creative and custom advertising capabilities. Prior to joining the Journal, Lawrence was VP-publisher of consumer magazine W, which is published by Condé Nast. She succeeds Andy Sippel, who left the Journal in August and is now senior VP at USA Today Sports Media Group.
