Wunderman acquires Blast Radius

New York—WPP Group’s Wunderman announced Wednesday that it has acquired Vancouver, B.C.-based Blast Radius, an interactive agency with offices in Amsterdam, London, New York, San Francisco and Toronto. Blast will become part of the Wunderman network.

The move marks a continuation of the direct marketing agency’s strategy to grow its digital operations both in breadth of capabilities and geographically. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Earlier this year, Wunderman expanded its digital footprint by acquiring interactive agencies in South Africa (Aqua Online) and Belgium (These Days), and bolstered its data infrastructure by acquiring a controlling interest in DataCore Marketing in the U.S.
