Wunderman inducted into Advertising Hall of Fame

New York -- Pioneering adman Lester Wunderman was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame Tuesday. Mr. Wunderman, who founded the New York agency Wunderman Cato Johnson, was recognized as the man who created the term ``direct marketing.'' Other highlights of Mr. Wunderman's career included airing the first 1-800 number on television, introducing magazine subscription cards and launching the Columbia Record Club.
