Former WWD group publisher to launch new fashion magazine

New York—Ralph Erardy, formerly senior VP-group publisher of Women’s Wear Daily, announced that he has formed Insider Communications Group.

The company plans this month to launch its first media property, Specialty Insider, a b-to-b magazine targeting specialty apparel retailers. Erardy will serve as publisher of the magazine, which will have a quarterly frequency.

“I believe a good idea where there is a void in the market will always be successful, despite the overall market conditions,” Erardy said in a statement.
