‘Brandweek’ picks new publisher

New York—Thomas Woerner has been named publisher of Brandweek. Woerner joins Brandweek from the Newspaper National Network, where he was responsible for increasing market share for the U.S. newspaper industry by creating new business from technology, consumer electronics and financial accounts. Prior to his work at the Newspaper National Network, Woerner was VP-global sales and marketing at CMP Media.
