‘Executive Technology’ shuttered, ‘Supermarket News’ adds supplement

Published on .

New York—Fairchild Publications said Executive Technology will cease publication. The October issue is the last for the title.

The company said it has created the Fairchild Executive Technology Group, a team that will contribute regularly to the company’s eight b-to-b titles, which include DNR, Footwear News and Home Furnishings News. Fairchild said the new group will also publish an "Executive Technology" In-depth series that will appear monthly in Women’s Wear Daily.

Separately, Supermarket News will launch SN’s Whole Health as a quarterly polybagged supplement. It will debut with next Monday’s issue of Supermarket News. Fairchild said the move is in response to the growing natural and organic market. The first issue of the supplement is 48 pages.
