‘The Wall Street Journal’ names designer for international editions

New York—The Wall Street Journal has hired Mario Garcia as lead designer for its new integrated print and online format for international editions launching in October. Garcia is a newspaper design consultant who led The Wall Street Journal’s design team in 2000 when the Journal introduced color to the front page of its Asian and European editions. He was also involved with the U.S. Journal’s redesign in 2002.
