Published on .

New York—The New York Times on Monday announced the addition of DealBook, a Web site offering up-to-the-minute news and exclusives about Wall Street and corporate America.

The site, which is an extension of the daily e-mail newsletter of the same name that is distributed to more than 160,000 subscribers, will cover mergers and acquisitions, private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, investment banking and legal and regulatory issues. Users will be able to search the site by news topics and specific industries.

Access to the site is free to subscribers of NYTimes.com. It will be edited by Andrew Ross Sorkin, the Times’ chief M&A reporter.
