Xerox announces partnerships, launches new b-to-b products and services

Boston—Xerox Corp. announced Thursday it has signed an $18 million, four-year deal to place 1,280 digital color multifunction systems in OfficeMax retail stores in the U.S.

Xerox also announced alliances with other companies, including Dow Chemical Co. and EDS. It is also working closely with Microsoft to ensure interoperability with MSN products.

In addition, Xerox has expanded its b-to-b print services for large companies. For small and midsize businesses, it introduced a black-and-white office multifunction product and a color laser printer.
