Yahoo! acquires video-editing site Jumpcut

Sept. 28 San Francisco—Yahoo! has acquired Jumpcut, a Web site that provides online video-editing tools. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Jumpcut provides Web users with a free set of tools to manipulate video images. It joins other recent acquisitions by Yahoo!, including photo-sharing site Flickr and Del.icio.us, a site that encourages users to share bookmark links to Web sites.
