Yahoo, GroupM seal original content pact

Sunnyvale, Calif.—Yahoo will partner with GroupM Entertainment to develop original content for a variety of Yahoo's Internet sites, including those devoted to entertainment, sports and finance.

Advertisers will be able to develop short-form video that integrates a brand message within the content.

Yahoo currently features Tech Ticker, sponsored by Scottrade. The deal is expected to expand on that concept, but will not include longer-form video.
