Published on .

Chicago—The Yahoo newspaper consortium, which represents more than 400 daily newspapers, has joined the recently formed advertising network quadrantONE.

The ad network, which allows advertisers to buy space on online newspaper and broadcasting sites by placing a single order, was formed in February by Gannett Co., Hearst Corp., New York Times Co. and Tribune Co. Yahoo’s consortium of newspapers will become affiliates of quadrantONE.

The consortium has a total of 26 newspaper companies, including A.H. Belo Corp; Cox Communications; Hearst Corp., McClatchy Co., MediaNews Group and E.W. Scripps Co.
