Yahoo personalizes online newspaper circulars for retailers

Sunnyvale, Calif.—Yahoo announced it has launched the Yahoo Circular Program, which enables retailers to deliver personalized online newspaper circulars directly to customers across the Yahoo network based on their interests.

The program is powered by content from ShopLocal, a multichannel shopping and ad services company.

Yahoo said the program is intended to supplement existing newspaper-based marketing programs for retailers by delivering benefits such as incremental reach, cost-efficiency, flexibility in regional pricing and product availability.
