Yahoo! reorganizes management team, some execs out

Published on .

Sunnyvale, Calif.—Facing a depressed stock price and soft revenue, Yahoo! announced late Tuesday an executive reorganization that aligns the company into three operating groups: Audience Group, Advertiser & Publisher Group and Technology Group.

CFO Susan Decker was appointed head of the Advertising & Publisher Group; she will continue to handle CFO responsibilities while a search is under way for her replacement.

COO Dan Rosensweig has decided to leave the company, according to Yahoo!

Others departing include John Marcom, who was senior VP-international, and Lloyd Braun, who was head of Yahoo!’s media group.

The Technology Group will be led by Farzad Nazem, the company’s chief technology officer.

A search is under way for an executive to lead the Audience Group. Yahoo! spokeswoman Kelly Delaney said the company is not currently discussing a COO search.

CEO Terry Semel remains in place. All leadership changes will be effective Jan. 1.
