Yantra upgrades supply chain software

Published on .

Tewksbury, Mass.--Yantra Corp. is scheduled to announce Monday key advances in its enterprise and inventory management software, already purchased by such companies as Motorola Inc., Target Corp. and Enron Corp. The key to the revised software is its ability to handle orders throughout a supply chain, whether from related corporate divisions, independently operating subsidiaries or suppliers. According to Kevin O'Marah, service director-supply chain strategies at AMR Research, this type of multitiered ordering software is the most strategic implementation a company can make. More than 24% of all b-to-b transactions will flow through these types of systems by 2004, he said.
