In a recent post on Pronet Advertising, Jen Williams references a study that – surprisingly – found an enduring popularity for the Yellow Pages. The post, “Despite Search, Yellow Pages are Alive and Kicking,” examines some of the survey's conclusions. Williams writes, “Yellow pages ranked as the most trusted source of local business data, with 51% of users saying they trusted yellow pages more than any other source.” So it must be only 49% of people who are throwing out their Yellow Pages as soon as their dropped off on their doorstep.
