Yellow Book USA to conduct circulation audits on all directories

Uniondale, N.Y.—Yellow Book USA announced this week that it has begun conducting full circulation audits on all Yellow Book directories.’

It is the first major Yellow Pages publisher to transparently audit and disclose its circulation figures, according to the company. The audits are being conducted by Certified Audit of Circulations, a nonprofit circulation and research organization.

Yellow Book said it will make available all circulation numbers for directories with a circulation over 100,000. Results will be posted on the CAC Web site at www.certifiedaudit.com for all advertisers, publishers and Certified Marketing Representatives, the agencies that handle national accounts in the Yellow Pages industry.
