Overland Park, Kan.--Yellow Freight System has narrowed the participants in its agency review to five: Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich.; DDB, Dallas; DMB&B, St. Louis; DraftWorldwide, Chicago; and Valentine McCormick Ligibel, Kansas City, Mo. Greg Reid, Yellow Freight's senior VP-sales and marketing, said the company needed to review its estimated $10 million account because it has become a more customer-focused organization. The transportation company is also facing increased competition from Federal Express Corp. and United Parcel Service of America. Incumbent NKH&W, Kansas City, Mo., resigned the account after Yellow Freight announced the review in June. Agency search consultant Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is handling the review.
