New York--The New York New Media Association has ceased operations. The 10-year-old regional online association said the Software & Information Industry Association has acquired its core programs for an undisclosed amount.

Those programs include JobsNetwork, an online job postings board; Executive Roundtable, a breakfast event series hosted by JPMorganChase; Face2Face, sponsored by Hale and Dorr and PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Venture/Private Equity Forum, an open forum for venture capitalists.

SIIA will open a New York office in January to support those programs.
