Published on .

New York—The New York Times announced promotions in its advertising department. The role of Todd Haskell, VP-business development, has been expanded to include responsibility for NYTimes.com ad sales, while Louis Fabrizio and Brian Garnock have each been named VP-advertising. All of the changes are effective immediately. Fabrizio, who had been ad group director, will be responsible for ad sales in the hotel, transportation, pharmaceutical, hospital and packaged goods sectors and will manage the Times's Miami ad sales office. Garnock will oversee the Times's technology and telecommunications ad sales, and will continue to manage the newspaper’s ad sales offices in Dallas, San Francisco and Seattle.
