'The New York Times' announces promotions of top marketing executives

New York—The New York Times announced the promotion of three top marketing executives.

Alyse Myers has been named senior VP-CMO for the New York Times Media Group, from VP in charge of marketing services.

Laura Langdon, executive group director for creative services, and Helen Seligman, executive director for advertising/promotion, will both become vice presidents in Marketing Services and will share responsibility for day-to-day management.

     In her expanded role, Myers will be responsible for brand building for four properties owned by The New York Times Co: The New York Times, NYTimes.com, International Herald Tribune and WQXR.
