Published on .

New York—The New York Times has expanded Bits, its technology news website, which covers new products, cloud computing, mobile, security, venture capital and regulation. Among the changes is the addition of Scuttlebot, a feed of technology stories from around the Web curated by the Bits staff. Bits' presence in the Monday print edition of the newspaper will be expanded, and Bits has added reporters Nicole Perlroth, most recently the venture capital reporter for Forbes, and Brian X. Chen, a former reporter for Wired.com, to its staff.
