Schaumburg, Ill.--The Audit Bureau of Circulations announced The New York Times
is the latest newspaper to participate in its Reader Profile service in order to verify its readership studies and total readership numbers. These data, along with ABC-audited circulation information, will help the Times
standardize readership research used by media planners. The Times
joins other newspapers including the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post
in the program; 74% of major newspapers participate, ABC said.
