New York—The New York Times will launch next Monday a TV program called "NYTV" that will run on NYC Media's NYC life channel. The program will focus on New York's arts, culture and fashion.
The program continues a trend of print media companies repurposing content to extend their brands. “New Yorkers can now add TV to the many ways they enjoy award-winning videos from NYTimes.com,” Gerald Marzorati, assistant managing editor, The New York Times, said in a statement. “The series offers curated videos from the Times in an engaging new format on NYC life.”
