New York--The New York Times Co. on Wednesday announced that ad revenue for the company's flagship New York Times fell 5% in the first quarter, compared with the same period last year. Revenue declined to $105.7 million from $111.3 million a year earlier. National advertising revenue decreased mostly because of softness in financial services and technology products advertising.
