New York--The New York Times Co. announced this week that the Times' Digital unit will on Oct. 8 begin publishing "DealBook," a free daily e-mail newsletter focusing on market-moving financial news. The Times Co. said "DealBook" will be delivered every weekday morning and provide breaking news about mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, private equity transactions, venture capital deals, and corporate legal cases and doings on Wall Street. The daily report will also provide access to Securities and Exchange Commission filings, analysts' presentations, conference telephone numbers and exclusive interviews with Wall Street newsmakers.
