Young to succeed Lazarus as global CEO of Ogilvy

London—WPP Group announced that Miles Young will succeed Shelly Lazarus as global CEO of the Ogilvy Group, effective Jan. 1.

Young is currently chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Asia Pacific, a position he has held for the past 13 years. Lazarus, who has served as global CEO for 11 years, will continue as chairman of the Ogilvy Group.
