San Francisco--Tech portal ZDNet announced Friday an agreement with Europe Online Networks S.A. under which ZDNet content will be distributed across the Europe Online satellite-based broadband Internet network. The agreement positions ZDNet to deliver streaming audio and video to businesses and consumers interested in technology. Europe Online has built an open-standard broadband Internet network, intended to deliver content to direct users, ISP, cable and DSL networks. The satellite delivery system allows digital products to be sent and received at 2 Mbps speeds without maintaining a telephone connection, according to a press release.
