Zerotree, e-Media to merge

Stamford, Conn.--E-Media L.L.C., an integrated video streaming company, and Zerotree Technologies Inc., a Santa Clara, Calif.-based developer of 3-D video software, plan to merge. The new company will retain the e-Media moniker and be headquartered in Stamford. Al Barber, the former CNBC president who was recently appointed CEO of e-Media, will remain CEO of the newly merged company. E-Media has partnerships with companies including DoubleClick Inc., and clients including DreamWorks SKG.
