New York—Ziff Davis, which produces PCMag.com, has acquired Focus Research, a provider of research to enterprise technology buyers and leads to IT vendors. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Formerly known as Tippit, Focus Research has now been rebranded as Ziff Davis B2B Focus. It will operate as a standalone unit within Ziff Davis.
“We look forward to tapping into Ziff Davis' large tech database, network of properties and content library to drive valuable marketing campaigns for clients,” said Rich Maiers, VP-sales at Ziff Davis B2B Focus, in a statement.
As part of the deal, Focus Research CEO Scott Albro and a group of other Focus Research employees will leave to work on building Focus.com as a separate business not affiliated with Ziff Davis.
Jordan, Edmiston Group represented Focus Research in the deal.
