Ziff-Davis to offer 10 million ZDNet shares

Washington, D.C. -- In documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ziff-Davis, New York, said the initial public offering of its tracking stock for ZDNet, the tech publisher's online business, would total 10 million shares. The ZDNet tracking stock will trade under the symbol ZDZ on the New York Stock Exchange. The company said it expected that the IPO price would be between $11 and $13 per share. No date for the IPO was set.
