New York--Ziff Davis Publishing Inc. reported earnings before income taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $6.2 million for the quarter ended June 30, an increase of 77.1% from $3.5 million a year earlier. Ziff exceeded its previously announced business outlook of $3 million to $5.0 million EBITDA for the quarter. But total revenue for the quarter down was down 37.3% to $47.6 million. Ziff Davisâ Developing Business Segment, which includes Ziff Davis Development Inc. and Ziff Davis Internet Inc. reported combined revenue of $9.2 million, up from $6.0 million, and EBITDA losses of $6.7 million, down from $17.4 million.
