Published on .

Garden City, N.Y.-based Ziff Davis Media Inc.'s Inter@ctive Week announced plans for a redesign of the magazine. The new look is slated for September. D.J. Stout of Pentagram Design, Austin, Texas, who is noted for his work on Texas Monthly, is leading the project. A key element of the redesign will be a smaller trim size for greater portability. Separately, Ziff Davis Media's PC Magazine announced Tim Castelli has been named publisher of the magazine, succeeding Peter Longo, who was recently named exec VP-publishing director within Ziff Davis' consumer magazine group.
