Zoom Media signs deal to enhance video billboard interactivity

New York—Zoom Media & Marketing, a company that provides digital video content and advertisements in public venues such as fitness centers, sports facilities, restaurants and nightclubs, will partner with LocaModa to add interactive and social messaging to its indoor screens.

Zoom Media will add LocaModa's interactive applications to its custom content at some 600 public locations, enabling mobile and social interaction from viewers via their mobile phones and PDAs, and connecting the media to such social Internet sites as Facebook and Twitter.

The companies said they will collaborate to integrate advertising clients into the interactive portion of Zoom Media's content.
