Zumbox gains $10.6 million in venture funding

Westlake Village, Calif.—Zumbox Inc., a provider of digital postal mail, has raised $10.6 million in a third round of venture funding. Existing investors, including former Walt Disney Co. CEO Michael Eisner and FreshDirect chairman-CEO Rick Braddock, were joined by Zumbox CEO John Payne and Computershare, a strategic partner of the company in the U.S. The company has raised a total of $28 million for development and distribution of its product to date.
