Zuora launches online content payment software

San Francisco—Zuora, an on-demand billing and payments service, announced a new product that enables media companies to quickly charge for online content.

The software as a service offering, Z-Commerce for Media, includes a product catalog, which the company said “gives publishers an easy way to define new price plans, charge for content the way they want and quickly launch new products to market.”

Additionally, Z-Commerce manages subscriptions for new and repeat subscribers. The system also manages recurring billing and payment processes.

Zuora’s b-to-b media customers include Reed Business Information.
