"To be honest, by that point it was three hours into the awards show and I was mildly sedated. But I do remember thinking that it sounded a bit out of time and I was incredibly tempted to jump up onstage and conduct the audience. It's always a bit embarrassing when people clap along and the clapping gradually gets more and more out of sync until it sounds more like applause than clapping. Why do audiences do that? Sorry, I don't mean to sound ungrateful. I was flattered that so many people knew it. But come on, it's not difficult to do it in time!"
