One of the latest ads from the Barack Obama campaign features former President Bill Clinton. In it, Clinton makes the case for Obama's economic approach. In an election about the economy, it makes sense to roll out a president who had a surplus attached to his name -- especially in swing states. And there's likely been enough time since Clinton's terms for most folks to gloss over the fact that the country was just as split over partisan lines back then.
