Clinton to Launch 'Atypical' Ad in North Carolina

Wants to Start a 'Conversation'

By Published on .

The following spot is hardly atypical. Sure, it ditches the soaring music and soft lighting of biography ads, and it doesn't show any children sleeping while the phone rings. But in the end, it's just a politician staring into the camera and saying, "Let's talk (because I really, really -- and boy do I mean really -- need your votes)." Hillary Clinton says she's been listening. And she wants to listen some more. And she'll even answer questions submitted to her North Carolina website right there on the TV. To be honest, this is one of the better Hillary Clinton ads. She comes across as sincere and believable (until the point where she says the election isn't about her). According to The Page, spots break statewide on Friday.
