Democrats Put Some Steel in Their Message

I suggested to the folks staffing the LexisNexis tent last night that they do an analysis of all the speeches from the convention floor yesterday. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure that every one of the speakers -- with the exception of Ted Kennedy -- uttered the phrase "steel-plant closings" or some variation of it. Is there a big retired-steel-worker vote in the swing states?
