By Published on .

Barack Obama might have the Facebook crowd in his hip pocket, but John McCain's now on the virtual ground on business social-networking site LinkedIn with a poll asking users about gas prices. In reality, both candidates have used LinkedIn to pose questions, but according to the network, this is the first ever political poll posted on its site. The poll will be live for one week and participants can only vote once. The poll question reads: "What has the most long-term potential to make gas affordable for Americans?" Answers are: A) Oil exploration in U.S. territories; B) Alternative energy research; C) Better Middle East relations; D) Smaller vehicles; E) I don't know.
