John McCain's camp unveiled today what they're calling the first TV ad of the general election. I guess since he's no longer running against other Republican's that statement is accurate. The spot will run in New Mexico where it will air in English and Spanish. According to our reporter Ira Teinowitz, the ad was done by the campaign's Foxhole Productions ad team, It's called 624787, a reference to ID number McCain provided to his captors while he was a prisoner of war. If you've been following Team McCain, you'll recognize the spot as sort of a shorter, better version of an online video that I panned a few back.
