Minnesota Congresswoman and Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann has launched her first TV spot in Iowa. No demon-sheep or goofy theatrics in this ad--just straight-forward political campaigning by way of claiming a connection to the area and picking a few Republican talking points (of the fiscal sort). Goofball theatrics might be good for challengers to score viral hits on the web, but Iowa caucus voters likely expect a little more decorum from those who actually have a chance. In a recent Des Moines Register poll, Bachmann was only one point behind current Republican leader Mitt Romney.
