Benjamin Gleitzman: AutomaticDJ

Published on .

Imagine how cool it would be walking into a party and the DJ immediately playing your favorite music, without prompting.

That's why music hacker Benjamin Gleitzman created AutomaticDJ.com. It plays music based solely on the faces of guests, by mashing up Face Recognition API from Face.com and music recommendations API, Hunch.

Gleitzman was one of a number of music hackers giving demos last weekend in New York at Musichackday.
