Google co-founder Sergey Brin came onstage at the company's I/O developers conference wearing Google's augmented-reality glasses, and then proceeded to demo the product in some pretty snazzy ways, including through a group of skydivers who were flying above San Francisco and jumped out of the plane onto the roof of the Moscone Center where the event was being held -- all while wearing the glasses.

Video startup Blip is starting down the path paved by YouTube, Hulu and Netflix, and introducing Blip Studios, a production house banner that will work with web producers to create original series and content. These shows, according to TechCrunch, will be monetized by partnering with brands, through sponsorships and branded content.
