Is this the most upscale vending machine yet? Vogue reportsthat Chanel has introduced a bright pink vending machine delivering its Le Volume de Chanel mascara in Selfridges, London. Customers will be given a token with the iconic Chanel logo to put into the machine to get their mascara, as well as a small lip gloss and preview of the Summer 2013 collection.
While we're not sure what Coco Chanel would have thought, the brand is certainly on-trend, with vending machines having become officially cool thanks to innovative efforts from the likes of Coca-cola, Let's Pizza and Delites. Meanwhile, for customers who want to dip their toe in the waters of Chanel, without having to deal with snooty sales people at the counter, it's a definite bonus.
