GOOD: 30-Day Challenge - Unplug at 8

Published on .

The Good 30-Day Challenge, which has in the past challenged you to go vegetarian and waste less, is back with the hardest mission ever: Stop using the Internet after 8 p.m.

Accompanying the inspiring video are some slightly scary facts that may just give you the motivation you need to take up the challenge. For example, the average American is now online 13 hours a week. In 2009, an addiction therapy center in Seattle opened up that breaks the habit for people who are online 16, 17 or 18 hours a day.

When positioned in those terms, it certainly is persuasive. Plus, gives you a great excuse to ignore your boss's emails after 8 p.m.
